The Renaissance Festival at Quiet Waters Park continues this weekend thru March 15. Browse through their enchanted crafts Village where over one hundred merchants and artisans demonstrate and sell their wares. Behold glass blowing, hammered pewter, wooden toys, unique pottery, clothing and a wealth of other riches. Applaud Hundreds of Performers, not only on their twelve stages but literally all around you. Sword fighters, minstrels, magicians, wenches and more. Cheer Battling Knights, as they mount their steeds, lower their visors, aim their lances and charge at full tilt, thrice daily. Feast on Hearty Food fit for a King! Visit the Pub and toast to the Royal Court with a tankard of ale or cider. Hip! Hip! Huzzah!
This weekend the streets of downtown Lake Worth will be covered in chalk as they host their annual Lake Worth Street Painting Festival. More than 600 artists with approxmately 250 drawings will decorate the pavement between Federal Hwy and H street, between First Avenue South and Second Avenue North. This year's stars will inlcude a Mario Brothers mural which will appear in 3D and inlcude Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, coins, Koopas and more! Other stars include scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Sherlock Holmes. The Festival takes place both Saturday and Sunday with live music, food and craft vendors. Hours are 10am - 6pm, free admission and parking.
