This nature refuge off of 441 between Atlantic Ave. and Boynton Beach Blvd. boasts 257 species of birds and waterfowl, 23 species of mammals, 63 plants or animals that are listed as endangered and a wildlife habitat that consists of everglades sloughs, wet prairies, sawgrass and tree islands, bordered by Cypress forest. Keep your eyes peeled for osprey, woodpeckers, alligators and the Ruddy Daggerwing butterfly as you stroll the elevated boardwalk and climb the observation tower of this local nature center. Be sure to visit inside as well to explore the exhibits and wildlife housed there. The center is open Wednesday - Friday 1:00PM - 4:30PM, and Saturday 10:00AM - 4:30PM. Closed Sunday - Tuesday.

This sports complex is located inside Logger's Run Park and is home to a 1.5 acre in-line skate, bike and skateboard facility. Ramps built undercover (within a converted roller hockey rink) include the wave, ledges, stairs, rails and a quarter-pipe hip corner. Behind the covered area are clay hills that provide a dirt track. The park charges a fee of $7 Mon. - Thurs. (all day) and $10 Fri. - Sun (all day). A waiver must be signed by parents or guardians of any participants under the age of 18.

Green Cay Nature Center is the county's newest nature center that overlooks 100 acres of constructed wetland and provides educational opportunities about this unique habitat. The wetland features 1.5 miles of elevated boardwalk featuring interpretive signs about the habitat. The Nature Center includes a lecture hall, gift shop, and live animals in an extensive exhibit room that highlights wetland attributes. Wed - Saturday 9AM - 3PM. Closed Sunday - Tuesday.

This oceanfront rehabilitation, rescue and nature center offers some of the most fascinating environmental programs Boca has to offer including free daily feeding programs in both their indoor and outdoor aquarium and sea tank. Their nature trail allows you to follow the shaded boardwalk to a 40 foot tower where visitors will find some breathtaking views. Open Monday - Saturday 9:00AM - 4:00PM, Sundays 12:00PM - 4:00PM.
